We burn effigies of Rawan every year to celebrate the victory of good over evil, but what about the destruction we leave behind in public spaces? Real civic apathy is the true demon we need to defeat.

If you pause and think for two seconds before throwing trash on the road or in the river, it could save hours of cleaning that trash up. Pause and think what you are doing to the environment.

If a community can make a river a dump then why can’t the same community step up to clean it up. While doing this clean up not a single local joined us, even when we asked them to. This is Not a Garbage Problem. This is a Mindset Problem.

Huge thank you to @nbtnavbharattimes for sharing my community’s mission! 🇮🇳✨
Seeing this initiative in the news is a beautiful reminder that this journey was never about just one person. This recognition truly belongs to all of you, every single friend, volunteer, and supporter who has followed along and believed in our shared dream of a cleaner Delhi.
From clearing years of garbage at bus stands and metro stations to working together to awaken our collective civic sense, none of this would be possible without your constant love and support. You are the ones turning this vision of a beautiful environment for our future generations into a reality.
Thank you for standing with me, sharing the message, and being the real changemakers. Let’s keep this momentum going together! 🙌🧹

I literally found the receipt for who is ruining our streets. 🧾🗑️
Spotted this massive garbage dump under the Rohini flyover. I looked closer and found an electricity bill from a premium commercial shop right here in Rohini. We preach about civic sense to the poor, while wealthy business owners use our public sidewalks as their personal dustbins.
Civic sense isn’t a class issue—it’s an attitude issue.

Found piles of commercial waste and a Rohini shop’s electricity bill dumped on the sidewalk under the metro line. We always point fingers at the underprivileged for dirtying the streets, but established businesses are doing this in the dark.
Education and wealth mean nothing if you can’t even dispose of your trash properly.

Is this a #dumpster ? Maybe it is because everytime I come here I see trash pilled up. I don’t know at this point, hence I asked the question.

Started the drive solo, ended with a brother. One of you recognized me mid-cleanup, picked up a bag, and got his hands dirty without a second thought. This community is everything. 🖤
